level One Beekeeping Workshops

Sunday afternoon program 1-5pm, RAIN OR SHINE – June 1st, 15th, or 29th. Join Jaimie, second generation head beekeeper at Board’s, for a great hands-on start to keeping your own bees healthy. Seasonal beekeeping skills along with natural bee behavior will be discussed. The workshop also includes in live beehive training. A test sting for potential beekeepers will be administered on request. No equipment necessary. $85/per person (tax included).

Discovery Programing

Beginning July 25^th, 2025. Thursdays, 1-3pm

Time may need to be extended for larger groups that need to be split up.

Groups /buses are encouraged to arrive approximately 30min. prior.

Alternate times can be arranged if necessary.

Sections of the tour will be divided according to how many participants.  Generally, each section is 20-30mins.eeyard & Equipment tent – we have an observation yard of beehives with bench seating for participants to visually and audibly understand the honeybee, beekeeping practices and equipment more fully.

Tour fee is $17.25/person ($19.50 including tax). 

We look forward to your group joining us for a memorable experience!

Bring your lunches.  Wear clothing for an outdoor experience. 

Enjoy the gardens, trails and playground provided.

Honey shop will be open for purchases.  There are many tasty and healthy items to discover!
